I’ve been to The Spring shopping with few friends early this Semester and met Sunsilk Roadshow there. I had a chance to join their Sunsilk Modeling contest after buying their product for more than RM30.
I was kind of nervous but excited at first as it was my first time joining this kind of contest and photo shooting. All the contestants were being made up and hair set by some ‘trainees’. I was the 120 contestant on that day and had been there queuing up for more than 5 hours! Well, free makeup and free hair setting plus free photo shooting would really catch public’s heart to join.
In this contest, the company would choose 20 finalists out and publish our photos to newspaper and ask readers to vote. 40% come from voters while 60% come from the company. For those 3 highest voters (people who vote the most) would had a chance to win Sunsilk hampers too.
All the prizes include: TaKiong's vouchers, Wixin Photography's vouchers, Makeup Academy's voucher, International Time Daily Newspaper's voucher and hair treatment vouchers.
Hehe.. and I'm very lucky to say that, I get 2nd prize in this contest! I was not really confident of winning in this contest as I don't have relative in kuching and most of my friends are staying in hostel like me. But I really feel so lucky and thankful for winning this contest!
And the prizes? I already mentioned above, all are in vouchers, so i didn't take any photos of the prizes. Here is a photo that my friends took on the prizes presentation.
